MONARCH INNER BEAUTY PAGEANTThe Monarch "Inner" Beauty Pageant is held annually in mid-May. As the title suggests, this pageant is not so much a competition based on outer beauty, but on inner growth, transformation and value. Just as butterflies transform from a caterpillar to a chrysalis and eventuate to a butterfly, we believe the young ladies of the DIVA Program are transformed as well.The pageant is designed in such a way so as to allow the young ladies to show forth their own transformation as demonstrated by their personal rendition of their growth, community involvement, responsible leadership, improved academic achievement and commitment to continued education.LADY DIVA LUNCHEONThe Lady DIVA Luncheon teaches visual poise, personal grooming and style, social etiquette and table manners thru interactive exercises in order that the newly learned information becomes a life skill.
